The N95 supports SDHC so it should work with 8GB. However, even though it can recognize the card, that doesn't mean the phone will work as expected.

I have a less advanced Nokia phone which supports 4GB SDHC, but when the card stores over 3GB of files, the phone gets stuck more often and resets itself. This issue is more complex than making your phone see a big memory card.

By the way, currently 8GB micro-SDHC is the biggest micro card on the market. There's no way to know whether this phone can actually handle a card with higher capacity since no one has ever tested it before.

You can see here the N95 supports upto 8GB according to <a href="http://www.sandisk.com/Compatibility/Device(8461)-Nokia-N95.aspx" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">SanDisk's Website</a>.

Not a response but I do have a question?

I just bought a second hand Nokia N95-1, whcih has a 2GB micro SD card, and have been told that it will also work with 8GB - and up even with a 32GB from SANDISK, is this a true statement or is my buddy feeding me a load of crap, just want to ask the people that know the low down before I buy a bigger chip.

Respectfully

Mark.
